What We Do On Site
-
Professional on-site IT support and break-fix services across Adelaide for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Includes hardware troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, system checks, and user-facing support delivered on behalf of your MSP or IT service provider.
-
Installation and replacement of computers, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals. Support for rack-and-stack deployments, office moves, device refreshes, new staff onboarding, and multi-site hardware rollouts with clear reporting and documentation.
-
On-site diagnosis of network issues including internet connectivity, NBN modem and router replacement, Wi-Fi performance problems, cabling checks, and switch and router work under your engineer's direction/instructions, including console access and physical checks
-
Acting as local hands for remote IT teams, following guided instructions for diagnostics, hardware checks, patching, testing and verification. Rack work, cross-connects, power cycling and equipment inspection. Ideal for MSPs and national IT teams needing reliable, professional representation on-site in Adelaide without maintaining a local presence.
-
Physical site inspections, IT asset inventory and auditing, equipment verification, rack documentation, cabling assessment and environment checks. We produce structured reports your team can act on or forward to a client: full device inventory with serial numbers, photographs, condition and age, and a recommendation on each item. Recent work includes a two-day survey of a corporate site documenting 248 individual assets for a consultancy managing the project from overseas.
-
Deployment, configuration and go-live support for point-of-sale hardware across retail and hospitality environments. Includes terminal setup, receipt printer and scanner installation, network integration and staff handover. Square certified through in-person training and hours on the job rather than online modules, and we're the only operator in South Australia offering it as a service. Experienced with multi-site POS rollouts under white-label arrangements.
-
End-of-lease and office closure support: asset inventory, equipment recovery, secure removal, and coordination of certified e-waste disposal. We document what is on site, what is worth relocating, what needs returning to a vendor or carrier, and what should be disposed of, so nothing is missed and nothing keeps billing after the site is empty.
-
Training staff on new hardware and software after deployment, so a rollout actually lands rather than generating tickets for the next fortnight. Delivered on-site or remotely, at whatever level the audience needs, from a quick handover through to structured sessions for a full team.
We have delivered Square hardware and software training for a national IT provider across their client base, both remotely and in person.
Your client sees the same faces. We're a small Adelaide team, not a dispatch pool, so the technician who attends knows your sites and your processes rather than reading a job sheet in the car park.
If that technician is unavailable you'll know who's coming and why before they arrive, not after the job.
Between us we cover board-level electronics repair, Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration, network and connectivity troubleshooting, POS deployment and structured site auditing. We're Square certified, and the only operator in South Australia offering it as a service.
Fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity, happy to work under NDA, and comfortable operating in your ticketing system under your brand.
Who you actually get
Our Process
Job Request and Scope Confirmation
We receive the job request, confirm the scope of work, site details, access requirements, and any specific instructions before attending. No surprises on-site.
On-Site Visit and Execution
A technician attends the client site at the agreed time, carrying out the requested work professionally while representing your business and following all provided processes.
Testing, Verification and Communication
All work is tested on-site to confirm the issue is resolved, with photos or evidence collected where required. If we find anything outside the agreed scope, we stop and check with you before proceeding.
Reporting and Handover
A clear summary of the work completed is provided back to you including notes, test results, and any recommendations, ensuring a smooth handover.
MSP Partner Plans
For IT service providers needing regular Adelaide field support, our MSP Partner Plans offer priority dispatch, reduced rates and a dedicated point of contact without locking you into rigid contracts.
-
Ad hoc dispatch with no arrangement in place. We fit you in around scheduled work and do our best on timing. Good for one-off jobs.
No ongoing fees.
$150/hr + $40 callout -
A standing agreement with no monthly commitment. NDA and terms signed, your processes and ticketing already in our system, and we scope your environment up front so we know your sites before we attend. Priority over unregistered clients, no onboarding delay when something goes wrong, and a lower rate for having done the groundwork once.
No monthly commitment.
$135/hr + $30 callout -
Priority dispatch ahead of Basic clients, a dedicated point of contact, and a monthly summary of work completed.
Minimum 5 hrs/month.
$120/hr + $30 callout -
Priority dispatch, same-day urgent availability within business hours, dedicated contact, monthly reporting and white-label documentation.
First in line. When two partners want the same window, Full Cover comes first.
Scheduled recurring work. Full Cover partners can book a standing weekly or monthly window for defined tasks, so you can offer your own clients a recurring service such as a monthly site check backed by a fixed attendance time. Recurring slots are agreed in advance, drawn from your committed hours, and reviewed each quarter. Either of us can move an individual visit with reasonable notice.
Minimum 20 hrs/month
$100/hr + $20 callout
Terms
Priority Cover and Full Cover carry a three month minimum term, since you're committing hours and we're planning around them. After that you're free to leave at any time. No Cover and Basic Cover have no term and no minimum, so you pay for the work you use.
All pricing Ex. GST
What committed hours buy
Committed hours are invoiced whether used or not. They aren't held as diary slots, but you come first when requests clash and we plan our month around them. Full Cover partners can also book a standing weekly or monthly window, so you can sell your own clients a recurring service with a fixed attendance time.
Response
Every job request is acknowledged within 30 minutes and accepted or declined with a firm ETA within 60 minutes, during business hours, whatever plan you're on. Attendance times are confirmed on acceptance and depend on distance and urgency. Work beyond your committed hours is scheduled on best efforts at the same rate.
Flexibility
The hours shown are minimums, not fixed blocks. If you're regularly going over you can increase your committed hours at any time at the same rate, or move up a tier when the volume justifies the better rate.
Recent Work
-
A consultancy managing a corporate office decommission from overseas needed a full inventory of an Adelaide CBD site they couldn't visit. We attended over two days and documented 248 individual assets with make, model, serial number, condition, age, photographs and a recommendation on each.
The report identified two live carrier services still billing that nobody had accounted for, flagged cloud-managed hardware needing release from its dashboard before leaving the building, and set out a safe removal order. Delivered as a written report and structured inventory, formatted to hand straight to their client.
-
An interstate provider maintaining self-service kiosks across South Australian sites needed reliable local hands for deployment and ongoing servicing. We handle scheduled attendance, fault resolution and reporting across multiple locations, with the provider retaining the client relationship throughout.
We also consolidated their deployment process into a single script, cutting setup time on new units and removing a manual step that had been a recurring source of errors.
-
A Canberra-based provider needed a camera installed across a 20 metre open span in a warehouse, where the cable run would have meant hours of work at height and a licensed cabler.
We surveyed the site and designed a wireless alternative: a new access point on the mezzanine serving a wireless camera across the gap, recording to the existing controller. Specified the hardware, scoped the electrical boundary, and delivered a report and quote. The design removed the cabling contractor from the job entirely.
-
A national IT rentals provider needed Square point-of-sale expertise for retail and hospitality deployments. We provided remote configuration support, on-site installation across Adelaide venues, and end user training on Square hardware and software.
Square certified through in-person training and hours on the job rather than online modules. We're the only operator in South Australia offering it as a service.

-
Yes. We regularly work with IT service providers who manage clients in Adelaide from interstate or overseas. We handle the on-site component while you retain full control of the client relationship. We're comfortable working across different ticketing platforms, following remote instructions, and providing detailed job reports so your team stays fully informed without needing to be in Adelaide. We currently provide Adelaide field support for IT providers based in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Hong Kong and India.
-
Yes. Ctrl Alt Solutions provides remote hands, smart hands and field technician services across Metro Adelaide for MSPs, IT service providers and national IT teams that need reliable on-site support without maintaining a local presence. We follow your instructions, work under your brand, and report back clearly after every job. Whether it's a one-off site visit or ongoing field support, we're set up to operate as your Adelaide-based extension.
-
Yes. We provide on-site POS terminal installation, configuration, and go-live support for retail and hospitality environments. This includes terminal setup, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and network integration. We are Square certified through in-person training and hours on the job rather than online modules, and we're the only operator in South Australia offering it as a service. We also have experience with multi-site POS rollouts delivered under white-label arrangements.
-
Yes, and it's better to know upfront. We are not ACMA cabler registered, so we can't install, alter, terminate or conceal fixed cabling. We connect equipment using pre-terminated leads and existing outlets, and anything requiring new fixed cabling goes to a licensed cabler or electrician. We also don't hold a South Australian security licence, so licensed CCTV and security system installation is outside our scope. Anything outside that we'll tell you about before we quote, not after we're on site.
-
Both. Plenty of our work is following your team's instructions on-site, which is what remote hands is for. We also carry out site surveys, network design and hardware specification where you'd rather hand the whole thing over. Design and specification work is scoped and quoted separately from field labour, so you know the cost before we start.
-
We stop and contact you before proceeding. Sites don't always match the brief, and we won't carry out unauthorised work or make decisions on your behalf in front of your client. You keep control of what happens and what gets billed.
-
We acknowledge every job request within 30 minutes during business hours, and confirm acceptance with a firm ETA within 60 minutes. If we can't meet your window, you'll know inside the hour so you can make other arrangements rather than waiting on us.
Attendance times depend on distance from our Ottoway workshop and the urgency of the work, and are confirmed when we accept the job rather than promised in advance. Same-day and out-of-hours attendance is available across Metro Adelaide at additional cost, including for partners without an agreement in place.
-
Time is rounded to the nearest 30 minutes. A callout applies per site attended, covering site access, setup and reporting rather than travel, so a dispatch across three sites carries three callouts. There is no distance loading and no per-kilometre charge. Reporting and photo evidence are included in the job time, not billed separately.
-
Yes. Full Cover's 20 hours a month is roughly half a day a week, and partner work sits well inside the field capacity we hold. If we didn't have room for what you need, we'd tell you before you signed rather than after.
